Human trafficking involves the use of force, fraud, or coercion to obtain some type of labor or commercial sex act. The adverse effects of trauma have a lasting toll on the individual’s physical, social, emotional or spiritual well-being. When participants are referred by survivors, community partners, law enforcement, victim specialists, and the public to Cece’s Hope Center the intake process begins to identify the immediate needs and next steps. This serves as the starting point for enrollment into the programs, such as case management or housing assistance, that CeCe’s provides victims.
